Quade Cooper to Captain Barbarians

It’s been announced that the 70 game veteran for the Wallabies, Quade Cooper, will be leading the Barbarians onto the field as their captain against Australia after being left out of the Australian squad. Although born in New Zealand, Quade was often selected for the Australian international team, the wallabies, and currently plays for the Queensland Reds in the Super Rugby, and Queensland Country in the National Rugby Championship as fly – half. Starting his career in 2007 for the Reds in 2007 and in only 3 short years was selected to represent Australia. Though there has been some controversy around his selection in recent years, there is no denying he has been a great player in Australian Rugby History.
